High Protein Shake Diet

Trying hard to lose weight? Burning fat is not as easy as you think. To lose and maintain weight, you need focus and discipline. Don't believe everything you see on the commercials. Some commercials promise results in 4 weeks. That's an unrealistic time frame. Years of neglect does not just go away in 4 weeks. You are going to need more time.

The best way to start losing weight is to work on your diet. Even if you don't exercise, a change in diet can improve your health tremendously. In fact, fitness experts always recommend a change in diet as the number one weight loss diet. Don't ever try to beat a crappy diet with an exercise program. It just won't work.

Fitness enthusiasts normally take 5 to 6 meals a day. But they are probably at a fitness level where they need to take that many meals. If you are just starting out, you are most likely taking just 3 meals a day. You don't jump from 3 meals to 5 meals immediately. First of all, you don't have the habit of taking so many meals, so it takes time to adjust.

To start quickly, add a high protein shake to your daily diet. In other words, on top of taking just 3 meals a day, you now take 3 meals plus 1 high protein shake. The shake can be taken in the morning, or at night, before you go to bed.

Protein shakes won't make you grow fat. In fact, they help to repair and build lean muscle mass. Adding just 1 shake to your daily diet can help you meet your daily protein needs. From there, you can slowly work your way up to 5 or 6 meals a day. But remember, it all starts from that 1 high protein shake.
